Hardscape Repair · Raleigh, Apex, Cary, Wake Forest

Hardscape rescue and repair service.

Bad base prep. Sunken pavers. A retaining wall that's starting to lean. THC assesses the damage honestly and fixes it the right way — or tells you exactly what you're dealing with before you commit.

What We Fix

Most hardscape problems come from the same place.

Poor base preparation is the root cause of almost every failed hardscape installation. Pavers that sink, walls that shift, surfaces that drain toward the house — these aren't material problems. They're installation problems that could have been prevented.

THC starts every rescue job with a site assessment to identify what went wrong and whether the fix is a repair or a rebuild. You get an honest answer before any work begins.

  • Sunken, shifted, or uneven paver surfaces
  • Retaining walls that are leaning, cracking, or separating
  • Poor drainage — water pooling or running toward the structure
  • Missing or failed edge restraint
  • Incomplete or cosmetically poor finishes
  • Unfinished work left by a previous contractor

Common Rescue Jobs

What THC gets called in to fix.

Paver Repair

Sunken or shifted pavers

Pavers that have settled unevenly, heaved at the edges, or shifted out of pattern. Usually a base or edge restraint failure — we pull, re-prep, and reset properly.

Wall Repair

Unstable retaining walls

Walls that are leaning forward, separating at the courses, or showing signs of base failure. We assess whether repair is viable or if a rebuild is the honest answer.

Finish Rescue

Incomplete or sloppy work

Jobs left half-done, improperly detailed, or finished without edge restraint, proper joint sand, or cleanup. We complete or correct the work to a standard you can stand behind.
